Kym + Luke
Mornington Peninsula Beach Wedding
Pop-up Wedding, a term that I seem to be hearing more and more these days. A pop up wedding is basically a wedding that takes place outside of the usual wedding venues. It can take place virtually any where! Kym and Luke’s wedding is a prime example of a pop up wedding and we just loved their style! Laid back is the word that comes to mind when I think about their beautiful day, enjoy the story!
Kym and Luke both stayed in a gorgeous beach house. Luke got ready down stairs, Kym got ready upstairs. You literally walked out the back gate and down the path to a beautiful beach. Sure, maybe we jumped a fence, trudged through the sand and fought back some rouge tree branches to reach the ceremony site, but man, it was worth it, what a sight.
I’ll let the pictures do most of the explaining, but the ceremony took place on top of a sand dune overlooking Rye back beach with 40-ish of their closest family and friends. It was beautiful, intimate, relaxed and perfect.
After the gorgeous ceremony and a few snaps on the beach we headed back to the house where we met all of their family and friends again to continue the party into the night and that food, oh.my.god.
Kym and Luke, thank you for bringing us back down to earth with your gorgeous laid back wedding.
