Sarah & Dan’s Baxter Barn Wedding

Alanis Morissette was once quoted expressing how ironic it was to rain on your wedding day. Well personally Alanis, call me crazy, but I’m quite a fan of rain on a wedding day and I feel like its getting a bad rap. So let’s give mother nature a break here, and hear me out.
Sarah & Dan were married at the beginning of April at the ever stunning Baxter Barn. Whilst all plans were made for an outdoor ceremony and reception and the morning’s weather set the scene of a perfect day, it just wasn’t meant to be that way! The ceremony was due to begin at 4.30pm and at 4.10pm the heavens opened and guests, decorations and a large arbour were rushed inside (snaps to Baxter Barn staff right here, champions). It’s lucky the inside of the barn is equally as lovely as the outside, and nothing could have phased Sarah and Dan that day (also champions). Their smiles beamed as the rained poured and they shared their very beautiful vows with one another in a love filled barn.
The rain passed just as we needed it to, hanging around just long enough for some stunning photos during a sun shower. We all had an awesome time and I personally wouldn’t have swapped the weather that day for anything, it gave the photos such character and we have such fond memories of Sarah & Dan’s day.
The day finished up with an epic sparkler send off as they whisked off to their 6 month long honeymoon. Amazing!
